How do I change my pet's name?

Head into the Dress Up Menu, and there will be a bar at the top with the type of pet you have. This is the bar where you can insert your pet's name. Click this and change your pet's name to whatever suits them best.

Some people have fancy fonts in their pet's names. How do I get this?

These fonts are special characters through alt codes and symbols. These can be found on your device or by searching for a special character font generator and copying and pasting the text into the game. This cannot be done through the game itself. 

From an accessibility standpoint, we do not recommend you change your pet's names using these characters. Although they look funky and add more personality to your pet, these characters cannot be read by text-to-speech readers and other accessibility applications used for those who need them. 

Someone offered to make the fancy font name for me. Do I trust them?

No. For another player to name your pet, you must trade it to them as they cannot access the menu without the pet. However, there is no guarantee they will trade your pet back, and it is very likely they won't. In these instances, you should keep hold of your pet and attempt to name it yourself.

What should I do if I spot an inappropriate pet name?

All pet names should follow our community guidelines. Our pet names follow Roblox's chat filter system, however some people may bypass this. If you spot an inappropriate pet name, you should report it here.
