There is a lot to do within Adopt Me, and we can play for countless hours; however, our devices' batteries do not last as long as we need them to keep playing. So, please follow these tips to ensure you're saving your battery life so you can play for longer.
Keep Roblox Updated
You should update your Roblox App to its latest version to preserve your battery. When any app publishes an update, it tends to publish fixes and adjustments that help the app run smoothly and, therefore, help your battery life. You can do this by heading to your designated application store and going to the Roblox page on the store to update, or if you're on a PC, Roblox should update each time you open any experience.
Lower Graphics Settings
By lowering your graphics settings, your device will use less power to load better graphics. To lower your graphics, you can head into the in-experience Roblox settings menu at the top left corner. By scrolling down directly on the Settings tab, you'll reach a section for graphics. You can adjust your graphics settings by using the arrows. Adjust them to a point where you feel comfortable playing but low enough to save your battery.
Disable Bluetooth
By disabling Bluetooth, your phone isn't consistently trying to connect to other devices in the background, saving your battery.
Disable Location Services
The same applies to turning off your location services. Your phone will be running location services in the background, sharing this with apps that request it and using up unnecessary battery life.
Note: Please only turn off your location if you are in a safe place to do so, such as your house. If you are out and about it is important to have your location turned on in case of emergencies.
Disable Unused Network Connections
If you're playing using your Wi-Fi, you should keep your Data turned off. If you're playing using your Data, you should keep your Wi-Fi turned off. While your phone has these unused network connections turned on, it will continuously check to connect to either connection; turning one off will save your battery life.
Reduce Brightness
Turn down your brightness to a comfortable level where you can still see properly without straining your eyes, but enough so it saves how much power your device is using to brighten the screen.
Close Background Apps
Your device may be running other apps and programs in the background, which uses up unnecessary battery life as these are not being actively used. You should close any other open applications to preserve your battery.
Enable Battery-saving Features
Most devices have a battery-saving feature, such as a low-power mode. These features are designed to make changes that lower your device's battery power usage. Check your device's settings for any battery-saving features it might have to offer and enable them.
Monitor Device Temperature
If you've got an overheating device, your battery may be losing charge rapidly. You should keep an eye on this, and if your phone feels particularly warm
Other tips:
- Invest in a power bank.
- Charge your device fully before playing.
- Don't play it while charging.
- Check your device's battery health regularly.
